The handles are nearly identical. What "feels" different is the blade while in use. The super thin Elmax slices, the anorexic B4LE cuts. Does that make any sense?
Yes a lot if something needs to be sliced (delicate) use the max if something needs to be cut(hardee) use the b4. Right tool for the right job.
