A finely tuned revolver with a reputable trigger job can be more accurate in double action--at least for me. I rarely shoot my revolvers in SA unless it is my SAA. I don't know why but I do prefer a revolver for shooting.

can hit with my tuned S&W 686+ in double action. But it has a super light trigger and a 6" bbl. I still prefer to shoot SA.....that's the way the USAF taught me to shoot with the combat masterpiece.
