don't know if you have used one but i think the muk has to be used to really appreciate it. and it's not for everyone i guess. but i describe the muk as "dan giving dogs thumbs.."

the scrapmuk really does some things a poinier blade like the ss4 just doesn't do as well. the weird swedge on the scrapmuk makes for a decent hammer for nuts and crushing up stuff like garlic. the broad tip makes it good for stirring stuff and scooping things into pots. can't count how many times i ate something with my muk as the utensil. ss4 is just too thin for that.
