...I don't know Mag, I got mine in hand right now and I don't think thare is any further cocking with the trigger pull, just the dropping of all the internal saftey blocks and such, prior to the sear dropping out of the firing pin's way. Now please understand I don't want try to call you out or anything but I am pretty darn sure it is a true SAO.
If it's like a single action trigger pull, that would be fine. I like the reduced weight and and high capacity of the XD. I need to go try one and see how the trigger feels.
