I prefer a 9mm because on rapid fire I can control it better and shoot it faster and still hit where I aim compared to a .45 but much of the aim aspect is "subconscious" ... this only comes from lots of practise for me and "one" pistol works best ... especially in comps ... however in Europe a 9mm is the main calibre for comps.

I find that the mussle break works best on a 9mm ... and whilst some may see this as a "competition only" feature ... see if you can find one to try ... and you will be suprised at how they give a real defense advantage as well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
