It was a basic Springfield 1911, parkarized finish. I sent it off to a local smith, obviously had it plated, trigger, sights, ambi safety, hammer and backstap. The checkering on the front strap was done by hand. The guy did an outstanding job, took a while but well worth it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
