Real happiness is a belt-fed weapon!!!

Amen, Tom. When I was a KAYdet at Summer Camp at Ft. Bragg, I got stuck humping the M-60 on most patrols because I was a big guy. Even with blanks, the 60 spoke louder than the M16s did. I liked it. I had a chance to get good with it at Ft knox. But THE belt fed MG is the mighty .50 cal. M-2 HB. Now that's a hoss! The little coax we had in the tanks was was nice, too, like a miniature M2. I forget what is was, M240? It would scream out bullets. Unlike you, I did not carry a weapon much in the war, being in the AF. I loaded bombs mostly, and humped a lot of ammo. It's more fun to shoot it.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
