When we came out of the "bush" we went to our rear area, which was a combat base. They had a chow hall there that was a nice break from the
C-rats. We pulled a couple weeks of bridge security at Liberty bridge that was great; they had a chow hall and make do showers. Yes, time flies as that was more than fifty years ago.
