ALWAYS carry 3 corn cobs, 2 red and one white. If you “gotta go”, when you’re finished use a red one first. Then use the white one to see if you need the second red one.

My father told me that when he was a kid in Alabama, corncobs were used by the hillbillies and Sears catalogs were used in the outhouses by upper class folk. When he was out playing with his friends and away from their houses, they used young pine trees. Just straddled them and ran down the trunk. Had to be careful to go in the right direction though.
