I miss having goid BBQ from a restaurant, food truck or even a storage unit. That's one thing we are sorely missing here. There are a few bbq places but nothing close to your average place in the South. Bill Sharps Bbq in Sedalia Mo was one of the best in the U.S. at least in the 80s.
I have a love hate relationship with red dots. Love them on rifles, some days I love them on pistols especially duty pistols. But I can't bring myself to put it on any of my CCW rigs. I think its an issue of familiarity and reliability/durability. The iron night sights I changed out the other day were well over 25 years old. Aside from them no longer glowing at night they were still functional and rugged. The new ones should be the same.
