Boy, life has a way of kicking you in the teeth. Patty got the results of her bone density test today. She has osteopenia AND Osteoporosis. Unless they can get her bone density back up she has a 17% chance of more bone breakages and 30% more in other parts of her body. And, it has been recommended that for both of us (her hip and Back and my back) to get a “hospital” bed. Meaning a bed that articulates along with a good mattress this time.

After talking to our ex daughter in law (worked in the furniture business for a few years) , Patty’s son, the surgeon and both the physical and occupational therapists, that’s the route we are gonna take. We have been unable to sleep in our bed for goin on 2 years because it hurts us so bad, So recliners it has been. But now, especially with Patty’s little Birthday breakup (pun intended) we really need to get back in real bed again.

We’ve decided on a mattress and articulating frame and probably will finalize the deal this weekend. There goes about 6G’s but we both know that for our continuing health and comfort it’s gonna be worth it. cry wink. And face facts, it may well be the last bed (mattress) we’ll need to buy at our ages.
