LOL, we both love smoked ribs, pulled pork and tri-tip. I went to smoke some pork butt and couldn't get my old smoker up to temp due to cooler weather and wind. No reason it shouldn't have worked at about 57 degrees.

So she made a command decision. I'm good with it. I'm looking forward to having something with a lot more temperature control.

Doing a tri tip on my old smoker was a gamble if the weather wasn't perfect. I'll keep the old one for smoking hams and turkey since it was a cabinet style smoker.
