The Nooksack river in Washington is still flooding into the Eastern section of the Sumas prairie, so that area still has rising water.
The pumping station In danger of failing is in that area.
So we are still in a period of fluctuating conditions

From what i hear the border services has been good at allowing Canadians to cross the border so they can get home.
I have even heard reports that they allowed some canadians through without a passport
The reality is that the cross border cooperation and mutual aid between the countries is never an issue in times of crisis.
