Oh man, that DOES have some nice figuring to it. Personally I don't like stabilized woods. To me they feel like a rock, so hard and unyielding and will break just like a rock cracking off.
That's kinda what I was worried about wit the skizzy, but I like the way it feels so far, and seeing how I've been thinking about sending my zilla in of micarta slabs, might be fun to try out wood slabs first
