I hear you, I noticed that before I retired (In 1994) that the quality of the kids coming in many times left a LOT to be desired. And the AF had higher standards than the Oh well lets just say the ARMY! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Being in the recruiting field, I have learned a lot. It all depends on what the country needs. If we need a bigger force (we are going to war), it is easy to get in. Hell, I had two felonies. If we are leaving war, you better be smart and fit.
