It's design lends itself to offensive uses, primarily, due to it's handle design. i.e. difficult to grab in a hurry.
It's handle design would hinder grip transitions as desired in a fighting knife.
BUT it looks so Bad A**. You know your gonna see some tough guy in a movie taking out a platoon. And' it is just well, knarly.
