The sights are just tall enough to see over the can. The base of the front sight is the same height, but the thinner part, the actual sight post is above it.

I didn't get a chance to fire it without hearing protection as the range has rules.
Marines are meant to break the rules.

There was I guy in the lane next to me firing a 12 gauge and a S&W 500. I like my hearing to much and didn't want to ask him to stop firing.
