I really miss the old way. Dispatchers were allowed to be better insteaf of doing national e911 protocols. They are actually graded on how they fill out a form on every 911 call as opposed to how well they actually do.
We went to get certified in EPD dispatching, then the county promptly didn't schedule us any inservice to keep the certification nor did they get the software to run the EPD protocols.
