When I was stationed in Japan, I went to visit friends in Hawaii every year over Christmas. We went scuba diving (I have over 60 open water dives, and even lead one dive with a club but was never became a certified diver, but my buddy made sure I knew all the procedures). I've been down to or over 100 feet 3 times and have 4 night dives.

One night we were being circled by a couple, maybe three Barracuda. They thankfully stayed just at the edge of our lights. I also came face to face (about 2 feet away) from a Morey eel. Those fells got some teeth!
