One time I was in the control tower talking to the controllers and they had a Cessna (aeroclub) coming in for a landing. Controllers (at least Military controllers) are taught that when a plane is on final and about to land they are supposed to say "Check wheels down and locked". Well this controller said that to the Cessna out of habit and the Cessna came back and said "Down and welded".
