My old boy was a determined chewer, but when he got tired, he would just bury it.
What was really funny is he would act like he was digging a hole in the carpet, then set the chew down in plane sight, then nudge the carpet with his nose like he was pushing dirt on it. Then look at it and walk off. It was hilarious, since it was still in plain sight!
