no way does that mess with warranty
you are changing Dans design. i dont think it would effect the knife in a bad way but Dan does have final say
I am sure it would void the warranty IF I was trying to get him to "FIX" the handle that I messed up. But the handle isn't messed u[, therefore no warranty claim. Now figure Dan would still cover the blade. I wouldn't expect him to replace the handle the I modified, UNLESS I was willing to pay for the fix.
