That is a good choice. I need to start varying my whiskies. I seldom stray from Maker's unless I am at a bar/restaurant.
Have you tried the Maker's 46? I like it even better than the standard stuff.
Sometimes I just like a little rye spiciness. Hence the WT in the cupboard. Also picked up a Knob Creek Rye...yowza, that's a tough one to get in the mood for.
