I think the FN 5.7 is probably the best SD pistol cartridge ever at this point....
-Armor defeating capabilities.
-Incredible range and accuracy.
-Low recoil but high volume unfortunately.
-High capacity capable.
love my 5.7. would be the first thing i grabbed if i looked up and saw a strange world outside my window. zombie and that...
would not label it the best though... too many scenarios so the best becomes what you have on you when it comes time.
