Watched the last part of the Sporting KC victory over New England tonight. Wish they could win more games at home, but if they win on the road it will still equal playoffs for us.
I really like futbol. US not making hurts the popularity of the sport even more than it already is.
I learned to love it as a kid in Germany. We have a passionate fan base in KC and supposedly one of the largest participation rates for kids in the nation.
I think people expect our national teams will dominate in everything, but I think when we do win, it is that much sweeter.
