The black one was shot at 450 yards. Based on some crude methods of measuring chest diameter...he was estimated at 280 lbs.

The polka-dotted one, was a bit longer and thinner in the chest. He only estimated at about 250 lbs.

They are both boars. I would say they are about average for boars...not HUGE. However, we keep killing them, so for us it's somewhat rare to see one at >250 lbs or so. Most of the hogs we kill are 100-150, somewhere in that range. A true trophy would probably be 350+.
