I struggle with not "Hating" someone just because they are this or that, or believe this way or that way, or that they are a member of that or not a member. But it is hard to separate the person from "The act", at least for me.
This is one of the things that defines us as being human. One of the things that defines us as being "good" is to recognize our own faults and try to overcome them.
I will never be perfect, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try to improve daily
