Well that is stupid too, in my opinion. IF it was (or is ) the law in a certain country I can not argue that fact, other than to say by WESTERN, read that as "Non Muslim", standards it is stupid!
The guy that murdered his ex and daughters is in Ontario. The local case was a girl that grew up here but was murdered in India, the Indian government just filed for exrtadition last week, as they have just laid the charges now. Honour killings over such things as insuficient dowries is still a problem in India that is not going away
Some times we become lost in the old ways.
Just like one day the daughter asked the mother why she always cut off part of each end of a ham when she baked it. Mom said "Well that is the way Grandma always did it". One day Mom asked Grandma (her mom) why. Grandma/mom said "The hams were always to fit in the pan"!
