Yote, NONE of us really knows for sure. All we do is pick what we want to believe (or not believe)(which for the most part is based upon our upbringing). Even folks who say there is NO God, still (well at least most of them) believe in good and evil just like you do.
I have had conversations with believers that cannot understand how someone can be moral if they do not believe.

Being a believer, I don't find your statement difficult at all. As you said earlier, for what ever reason, MOST people in the world DO believe in a universal right or wrong. It will just differ somewhat by our "Teaching or upbringing".
