I would take chicken liver and set it in the sun for a day then use it to fish with for the next few days. Stank to high heaven but it brought in some nice catfish.

We used to pull all nighter catfishing trips. Fish till the sun came up sleep till around 1 ish then fish for bass until dark and then back to catfish.
