Soccer is big here in Stl too, especially with the prep schools and Saint Louis uni being a national college contender, they keep talking about getting a MLS team, but not yet

I am really surprised St. Louis didn't already get one. Next up for MLS sounds like either Minnesota, or elevating one of the minor league franchises in Florida (like what they did with the Sounders).

We couldn't even support a minor league without the large Serb/Croat population. Those guys are fanatic soccer fans

When we had Omar Bravo, the Mexican fans came out in droves. I was worried when he left, but we are still selling out and the TV games get surprisingly good ratings. We do have a polyglot of immigrants, but the soccer families are coming out no matter what their ethnic background.
