I'm not far behind you Randy. I'm hoping my leg brace comes in next week. Hopefully, it will let me start hiking again. Right now the ice and snow are keeping me from doing much walking.
Get yourself one of these. I have one I use from time to time and that hook is a lot handier than you think. I am going to put some kind of a wrap on mine for a better hand hold.
