Probably should go with led lighting. Just saw an ad for a 1000k propane generator that runs on a 10lb tank for 50 hours! (?) Yeah a Murphy bed setup would give you a lot more living space and if the “not so runt” could handle it, a drop down style bunk bed would also work. Just watch a lot of did it themselves converted ambulances for ideas. There are some pretty innovative folks out there.
