Waaay back in ‘76 or ‘77 I spent about 30 minutes “touring” Air Force 1 backup plane. I think the tail number was 27000. I was working in Airfield Management at the time. Same way I got to drive the VP’s limo in Omaha. Still can’t believe they let me do it. But there were two armed Secret Service in it with me. That would have been about ‘84.
