Our snowstorm has started. About 12 hours early. If how this one is starting is an indication, we are in for a lot of snow. It's heavy and wet and not really melting as it should. If we get the predicted 36 to 48 hours of this the region will be shut down until the middle of next week. As heavy and wet as this is we are going to lose some trees and limbs. That means power outages and shortages.

Thankfully we are ahead of the game and prepared as much as we can be. We don't need to be anywhere until next Thursday. I have the plow set up on one of the ATV's, enough fuel to run the generator for a couple of days if it comes down to it. I do wish I had some more wood, but we don't use it to heat much and I didn't cut any last year since we were planning on having moved already. I have about 1/4 of a cord.
