I mowed the lawn for the first time in years on Saturday.

... well, it wasn't the first time the lawn was mower in years... just the first time I've done it. It's one of those jobs the kids have been doing for the past decade. With the two youngest doing marching band (vibraphone and color guard), looks like I'll be back doing this more often in the fall. Somehow they managed to take care of it last year, but the older girl is a senior and busy with college prep.

Oh well, I had a good run. So long as I wear the cages around my knees I can do it. Just one more thing to whine about grin
