Another fine day. Waiting for it to get light enough to let the critters out of their pen. I think I'll head to the range and test out a new slide on an old pistol. See if I made a decent choice or not. I'm converting an old full size 40 cal Glock to a full size 9mm with an optics cut. It was my first agency issued duty gun. Oddly I have never really cared for it. It was one of the older gen 3's that you couldn't reliably run a light on. Same frame as the G17, just now with a G17 slide. I suspect it may work better this way than it's original form. The First Gen 3 40 cals weren't the best and this is one of those.
