Patty had her appointment with the Gastroenterology Specialist at Barnes-Jewish yesterday morning. We left home at 6:30am and got to St Louis at 9:15. We really like this guy and he spent over an hour with us, talking about her problems and going over a plan of attack. She got 3 new meds (oh joy joy) and will be scheduled for a couple tests here in a bit. AND they are gonna refer to a hip specialist to see if they can figure what went wrong with the implant. All in all a seemingly productive day, and we have high hopes.
But it was a long (got home around 5pm after driving a total of 296 miles round trip. It was good to get home.
