I took the wife out for lunch and while we were in town stopped by the ranch supply and picked up a couple of chicks (baby chickens you heathens) to brood.
I'm trying to spread out the age of my flock to keep them laying over the years. I figure Ill skip next year and brood a couple every other year.
I'm eyeballing fruit trees, but It's false spring and I'd likely be wasting my money trying to plant them now.
