While I'm not a fan of foreign interests owning companies in the US its a complicated issue. Vista and companies like it are left leaning and have done serious damage to the gun industry. Look AR Marlin, Remington, Bush master etc and even Colt.

The ammo manufacturing they bought is primarily right here in Lewiston Idaho. I have heard zero rumors about moves, layoffs or shutdowns. I did talk to someone that hopes they will manage it better but I don't think anything will change.

Remember Vista didn't handle day to day operations. It was an investment company. Could the new investor do damage? Yep, but not likely if they want a return on investment.

Its probably panic due to current affairs and the Lake city ammo situation. People are back to panic buying 223. its nuts. Israel is going to need a boatload of ammo, Ukraine to and Lake city needs to retool for the next military ammo.

The time to buy was years ago. But that has been the case for decades now.
