Well actually it wasn't. It was a no go. Derek had one of his best friends die in a crop duster plane accident and the guy was buried last Sunday. 29 years old, left a wife, two year old son and she has one on the way. They were gonna take her to the Illinois state fair (about 3 hours away) to try and take her mind off things but she cancelled. We spent the day at church, lunch with the preacher and his wife and one of the deacons and his wife along with the retired school teacher next door.

we got home about 1700 and then they had a 5th Sunday night service in the park that started at 1830 and wasn't over until about 2030! It was nice though.
