I had a good visit with my friend today. I always call him a pirate because of his wheeling and dealing, so I made an eye patch for him and bought a skull and crossbones bandanna for his head. Of course, a pirate needs his bottle of rum, so I took a bottle of Bacardi rum and a plastic container of lime juice as well. Seems that he really likes rum and Coke, though two is enough for him. They even have an official "happy hour" on Fridays, so he was really glad to receive the rum. The Veterans' Home really takes great care of the Veterans, and we had a lot of laughs. Really good for a terminally ill patient.
