I insure things like expensive packages all the time. Signature service added, too. I bought a pair of Footjoy golf shoes (about ~250 back then) and had to return them under warranty.
I shipped them to Footjoy and when they were shipped back, Footjoy shipped them to an address that didn't match the typed form with the return address that I put inside the box.
The box was shipped and signed for but my shoes never made it to the house. Evidently, not only did the receipt signature not match mine but the shoes were delivered to an address that didn't exist.
If I hadn't paid extra for insurance and signature service, I would have never been compensated -- I would have saved a bunch of golf balls that were subsequently lost in the weeds though.

I have it insured I just want it back. Im letting a friend check out my TGLB and a few others. If it gets stolen or lost I will be a sad puppy.
