In northern VA it runs from the first Saturday in September to the last Saturday in March. We get seven months grin

SF45ACP and I have even had that extended the past few years--we get on a kill permit at a farm that affords jack-lighting and regular hunting from April through October. So somehow, we end up with 13 months of hunting a year...
