I remember thinking my original Gerber LMF (the first version - not the tan one that Bear Grylls ripped off) was an ultimate addition to my collection of original Beckers.

I couldn't hardly bring myself to use a knife I paid $120 for!

Then I bought my first Bussekin. An original release S5CG.

All of the other knives were quickly sold.

Then I bought my first Swamp Rat, and it became a "grail".

Then I finally bought my first Busse Combat.

Since then I've started to view Scrap Yards as "cheap priced" since I've paid well over $600 for a Busse.

Its price-point-perception-shift. At some point it has to stop for me. I found myself considering a ASHBM LE but went with the ASHBM CG because while I love the smooth cutting ability of satin...I couldn't give up a whole other knife to have it on a chopper.
