i'm looking forward to getting some rabbits this year but since squirrel season kicks in at the same time i may just grab a couple squirrels and see how I do with them in the kitchen. if I find that I enjoy squirrel a certain way then i can see hunting up a few every now and then. if it seems like too much a hassle or i don't particulally enjoy it then they will stay on the pest side..

even if i don't keep every rabbit I get I know my family members would appreciate somebody getting a few for them. the price on rabbit at the store was pretty crazy. i'm thinking $30 or so for a little box. i didnt even bother to look at the price per pound but with a price tag like that the only way I'll be eating rabbit is if get myself anyways.
