my preference would actually be to locate a .357 h&r rifle but they are not to be found at this time. i'm also making this purchase with a gift card so i'm limited to what is in inventory. so far i have only seen .35 whelen, .444, and 45/70 that qualify for my uses. i will likely purchase a .357 barrel or this frame at a later date. i also hope to have this around as a "buddy rifle" for others who may want to go hunting with me during regular season.
