On a more positive note, my oldest had his birthday over the weekend. His grandparents got him a Condor Moonstalker and we got him an RMD, courtesy of a very kind Dog. He wanders around clutching the RMD--he gets it that this is one special knife and is of superior quality. It's fun chatting with him about metallurgy and knife making.
