Id love to have a Submariner but thats a lot of coin
When I was in Japan (and single) I bought a 4 year old submariner for a grand. I also have a 59 year old Oyster date just that I paid 50 bucks for then spend 450 getting it brought up to specs. I am happy with my watches and don't figure I will ever have to buy another one.
Oh I have the Submariner because I was destroying 1-2 GShocks a year.
Both my Rolex's are still ticking!
