The Holidays is a good time to spend with whatever family you have, or good friends. In 2004 I had two buddies from VietNam spend a week with us at Christmas; both were single and from both coasts. Even though we had not seen each other since 1970 it was still a great time, and they enjoyed it as much as I did. If nothing else, try connecting with some fellow servicemen with whom you served.
